The cutters on Ameri-Shred's Heavy Duty Industrial paper shredders are a full twelve inches in diameter, providing quick, efficient, high volume document destruction. For easy maintenance, our Heavy Duty Industrial shredders feature lift-off panels with clear plexiglass windows. This feature allows the user to see inside components without removing the panels. A hinged cover over the cutting assembly is provided for easy cleaning. An easily accessible block of grease fittings provide single point lubrication for all bearings. Each fitting is connected to a point that requires periodic lubrication. This quick and effective method of lubrication eliminates the need to remove any side covers. In addition, the 12 3/4" diameter spur gears, with a 6" wide face, run in an oil bath, eliminating the need for manual greasing.

Our Heavy Duty Industrial paper shredders have insatiable appetites, shredding large volumes of computer printouts and letterhead, and full three ring binders - two at a time. These shredders will also easily shred high volumes of audio and video tapes, mylar, microfiche and microfilm, as well as hard-back books and thick Thomas Registers, without harm to the cutters. A 15" steel paddle wheel crusher, located just in front of the cutters, allows these shredders to destroy huge volumes of waste basket contents, large boxes, as well as steel, aluminum, and plastic beverage containers.

Precision ground, self-sharpening A-2 tool steel cutters with positive a saw-tooth grip will shred not only paper but corrugated boxes, credit cards, transparencies, microfilm, microfiche and floppy disks. An optional automatic cutter head lubrication system is available.

		Standard extra-large feed table provides an area to dumpe a full gaylord, cart or container to maximiz throughput. This feature allows the operator to merely push the material that needs to be destroyed onto the input conveyor belt. By reducing bending and lifting of material, operator fatigue is also reduced.

		The electrical control system consists of high quality, American-made components housed in a dust-proof key locked enclosure for safe, maintenance free operation. Our Heavy Duty Industrial shredders feature an automatic shut down in the event a jam occurs.

		A current sensing relay automatically stops the shredder in case of a jam, and the reversing starter allows the operator to clear the jams instantly. Low voltage key locked controls ensure safe, authorized operation.

		These units come with lift off panels for easy maintenance such as: V-belt adjustment, torque limiter adjustment, chain drive adjustment and general inspection.

		Aluminum bronze wear pads keep the cutters from riding into the side plates of the shredder and can be field adjusted to maintain tolerances and maximize shredding.

		A paddle wheel crusher, located just ahead of the cutters, enables these versatile machines to crush and shred wastebasket contents, corrugated boxes and even steel and aluminum beverage containers.

		Heat treated spur gears with a full 6" face provide effective transfer of power to the cutters. Oil bath lubrication eliminates the need for manual greasing.
